The Tamil script is syllabic, not alphabetic, with characters for consonant-vowel combinations. It includes 12 vowels, 18 consonants, and a unique character, the ஃ. This script is used not only for Tamil but also for other minority languages.

THE POSTER

The poster showcases the elegance of the non-Latin language “Tamil” and its typographic structure. The Tamil letters, which cover a significant portion of the poster, highlight the script’s extensive alphabet compared to the Latin script. The first letter of Tamil, “அ,” is prominently featured.

Designed with augmented reality technology, the poster transforms 2D letters into a 3D experience, enriching the poster’s true essence. Utilizing “Meta,” viewers can simply use their Instagram camera to engage with the augmented reality feature.
