THE INTERNSHIP
I joined Long Leaf Studio in 2021 as an intern, where I worked closely with the studio director and movie executive producer, Mr. Seth Johnson. In 2022, I was promoted to production assistant and graphic designer at the studio.
My responsibilities included poster design, creating animation clips, set construction, and camera operation. My work on the films earned me a spot in the college student spotlight in 2022.
DOCUMENTARY MOVIES
From 2021 to 2022, I contributed to three documentary films:
- “The Forgotten Creek,” 2022
- “Servant Leader: The Tom Bevill Story,” 2022
- “Lagarde: Making Natural History,” 2021
“The Forgotten Creek” documentary was honored with a 2023 Southeast Emmy Award in the Program Promotion category for its trailer and received a nomination in the Historical Documentary category – JSU NEWS
THE POSTERS
I used images captured at the festival and combined them to tell stories through the poster. The colors and the layout are designed to represent the lively atmosphere of the festival and to showcase the numerous film innovations and unique stories told each year.
